The Golden Gavel
The Golden Gavel is an award for outstanding performance in the role of chair of a company board. The award was established in 2005 by Deloitte and the Swedish Academy of Directors and is presented in association with Fairford Group, Heidrick & Struggles and SEB, with Dagens Industri as media partner. The aim of the award is to highlight and increase awareness of the crucial role of the chair in efficient, effective and business oriented board work.
About the award The Golden Gavel is awarded in two categories each year, one for stock exchange listed companies and one for private companies.
