The 2013 Golden Gavel for outstanding performance in the role of chair of the board of a listed company was awarded to Olle Nordström for his role as Chair of the Board of Sweco. The role of chair of the board of a private company was awarded to Monica Lindstedt for her role as Chair of the Board of Hemfrid. Chris Heister presented the awards at a ceremony in Stockholm on 5 December. The main speakers were Lord Myners of Truro (Paul Myners), CBE, Storbritanniens tidigare finansmarknadsminister och partner Cevian Capital and the moderators were Anna Ekelund and Anders Holmberg.
